A solid bronze iron cap, coated with a layer of stainless steel. The sole features a moveable shoe which allows to set the mouth opening on the plane to suit the type of cut being taken. The cap is an enhanced design from Stanleys old No.140 skew rebate block plane, the plane also features brass spin wheel with brass fittings, brass adjuster nut and cap screw. The 6-3/8" long body is 1-3/4" wide and is comfortable in the hand, the adjustable mouth provides control for making whatever shavings you need. This beautiful and affordable block plane comes with its own wooden display box with sliding lid and the plane is ready to go, right out of the box.
Blade size: 112.5 x 35 x 3mm, 30% thicker than standard block planes and is made from T10 carbon steel.
